Since 1998, A-Wedding Day is a catalyst for establishing wedding related communities, encouraging leadership, rewarding professionalism and providing opportunities to wedding professionals world wide.
We had awarded a few hundred web sites that were very proud to place the medal on their home pages. Once they did, we listed their URLs on our winners page, giving them an outside link thus helping their ranking on the search engines.
Currently we are in the process of transitioning from a website to an Online magazine. Unfortunately, it is like starting from scratch. However, we intend to cotinue the tradition, even add to it.
Any personal, business or organization’s web site that would be of interest to bridal couples and/or professionals in the wedding field could be eligible to receive this Gold Medal Award. Submission is by recommendation or inquiry. Anyone, including the owners, may recommend wedding sites for consideration of this Award.

Each web site will be carefully reviewed for merit. Awards are presented when a qualified recipient’s web site is identified as deserving of the Gold Medal of Excellence Recognition Award. We do not issue rejection letters. If you do not hear from us in a reasonable length of time, you are welcome to re-submit the web site for re-consideration.
Qualifications:
A candidate’s web site must contain wedding related content. Content on sites should be complete, useful, interesting, and visually impressive. We frown upon broken links, blank or long loading images, misspelling of words and grammatical errors.
A web site worthy of recognition is:
* Well designed with good use of space
* Has valuable content
* Is easy to navigate
* Has good color harmony
* Is appealing to a universal audience
* Provides valid contact information.
Web sites must be family friendly and children safe.
Sorry, web sites that contain any offensive, derogatory or adults only content will NOT be accepted.
Web Sites are checked periodically to assure that they continue to be worthy of recommendation and recognition. Should a site at any time be deemed unacceptable it will be taken off our list, and the web site owner will be asked to remove the Award from their web site.
Like all magazines, we will accept advertising . However, for a limited time, as a welcome to our new Online publication, we will award Gold medal recipients with the opportunity to advertise for free.
